You can use app like boXplorer or Xcommander to delete files from your xbox HDD.

I don't think I have those.  I have XBCopy, Px HDD... and i think thats it..

Well, if you got those apps from somewhere, you should look for these apps (boXplorer, XCommander)at the same place you got those. Or look in "usual places" for them.

you can delete them with px hdd loader i believe you press x on the game you have hilighted and it'll delete

The games are actually on Partition1, but it asks me to convert the games over, or press cancel.  You cannot convert though, it'll just keep popping up with the same question.  So eventually you have to just cancel it.  There's gotta be a way to do this.

boXplorer will also let you delete a game.
but use ftp, it's quick and easy. smile.gif

and by the way, you cannot use XBCopy to delete games.

dude he didnt even flame u.....ur question is REALLY stupid and it shoudlnt be that hard to figure out if u use the fuckin search..dont yell at him cuz ur a noob, at least try and learn on ur own.....but yeah, use ftp or boxplorer, thats why i do....and if u have pxloader use that to install games from now on and then u can delete them with that....

I bought the Xbox off a guy who already had modded it.  That's why I don't know anything.  And trust me, I went to the tutorials and tried to learn all this stuff and read through the forums.  I can't even get someone to answer this little question:

To FTP, what exactly do I need hardware-wise?  Do i just need a network cable going from my ethernet card to my xbox?  And then I just use the software from there I assume...

Trust me, try not to get too upset, because I am very new at this.  I got no one locally to teach me any of this.

Oh boy...  You should be asking your "friend" who sold you this modded box.

To connect to your Xbox, all you really need is a CROSSOVER Cat5 RJ-45 network cable.  You CANNOT use a standard straight thru cable unless you have a Hub or Router.

If you want to connect your box directly to your computer without any other hardware, you need the Crossover.  Recommended software to FTP is FlashFXP.  And if you have Zone Alarm or any other firewall software installed on your PC, turn it OFF before attempting a connection or transfer.

I would suggest you install BoxPlorer on your Xbox.  That way you won't need to FTP to the unit just to delete files.  

OK?  This is it, that's all you need to know.  Everything else on "how to" is in the FAQs and Tutorials.  If you don't understand the documents during the first reading, go back and read them over slowly 3 times.  You will get it.
