my game image is fine, its this white lines i cant figure out.

on the jamma connector there are 5 pins relating to the video
Red
Green
Blue
Ground

and

Sync

the first four are fine i.e. i know where they go,

but on the monitor there are four places were the sync pin could go.
previous games send it to -H sync on the monitor

im sending it there now for the xbox as well

but there are also +H sync -Vsync +vsync that go unused.

any help would be greatly appreciated

The stripes look like a noise pattern coming from a switched mode power supply or something.

If you disconnect the RGB signals from the jamma pcb, and you gnd those inputs on the monitor (preferable using 1K resistors.), do you still see the white stripes?

Have you seen the monitor working fine with it's original game?

The fact that the edges of the image aren't straight indicates that the sync isn't working as expected as well. An unstable monitor supply can cause similar issues.

What game does the monitor come from? Maybe the sega arcade museum can tell us more about the type of video signal that was used for that specific game.

Sorry I can't be more helpfull.

regards.

its works fine with my neogeo mvs. the sync from the jamma connects to -H sync for the neogeo and it displays fine.

im not really all that technical when it comes to resistors etc. sad.gif

Did you ever get it figured out?  I want to buy one of those JAMMA XBOX1 converters but want to know if they work.

Thanks.
