Looking at this post from another forum about rgb scart. It says pins 4 and 16 control h/v sync. Pins 4 and 16 would translate into pins 7 + 8 on Jared's diagram I will also link to. My question is has anyone tried using these pins for sync and did it work without using the triggers or sync separator?
http://members.optus...escart.htm#xboxhttp://forums.xbox-s...howtopic=213487I am going to try and see if I can get a hit. I do know with the sync separator that my monitor works in mode 1+2+3 with frosty's bios which should be throwing the 15khz scart signal. If this is correct then from what I read I should be able to pull h/v sync natively from Jared's diagram pins 7 +8 and not need the sync separator circuit at the very least in mode 1+2+3. (might not work in any other mode because the signal might not be available in any other mode.)
Does this make sense or seem logical to anyone?
I am curious about this because this would be the best route I can think of to run an xbox on an arcade monitor keeping as close to native resolutions as possible for emulation.
