Hi All

I saw a tutorial for installing RCA / Phono Red and White connectors to the Xbox some time ago but i can't for the life of me find it anywhere.

Im wanting to pipe out my audio in stereo through my old Rotel RA-820AX amplifier / Tannoy 611 speakers.

I'll be using XBMC for playing the audio files but wanted to go for the old school audiophile approach.

Not sure if this is what you were looking for, but the pictures in this post show the audio pinouts on the AV connector - 2/4 and 3/5.

I have an AV pack I bought on ebay that has a scart plug on the end. In the midle of those cable, I have 2 rca plugs for the audio and one for the composite video signal. No need to start drilling holes and soldering wires to the mobo. The firm that sold it was Yagoda.

Well hello there H'Meister. Long time no type.

That's half way there. Im wanting to have the xbox connected to a standard amplifier in the same way that a CD player would, using the red and white RCA / Phono female sockets as seen here: Red  / White Phono / RCA connectors

What im in need of is a good tutorial with some pictures of the installation. I have seen it done on many Xbox's during my random searches through the world of Xbox modding.

As i said earlier i just broke out my old HiFi gear, it's been in storage for years.

I was wanting to have my Xbox with XBMC act as a 'CD Player'. More out of curiosity and the need to keep me busy over the next few weeks. My recent work contract ran out on Friday so im out of work again, i have a 2nd interview on Wednesday for a position at the local Royal Infirmary. 'Technical Support Team Leader', i'll be implementing ITIL and covering some aspects of 2nd line support. Which will be nice.

Has that cleared things up a little?
