Digital Component Not Working For Original Xbox
« on: May 06, 2009, 08:49:00 PM »

Digital components?
A PC can ouput a digital colour space (YPbPr/YCbCr) signal through it's DVI output. The PC's VGA output is a RGB analog signal.
With a 360 you can get a cable with 6 phono RCAs:
Yellow for composite 480i/576i.
Red & White for stereo audio.
Green, blue and red for component.
This lead outputs analog component. You can get this type of lead for the first Xbox as well.  It's the only type of component lead for the Xbox. You can get digital component out of the 360 but it comes from the newer versions with HDMI output.

I'm just trying to understand what you mean by digital components. Given that this post is almost 2 weeks old and I'm the first to reply it could be that nobody else understands either. So I'm just trying to narrow things down.
