Latest XBMC (8.10 stable) installed.
Sound is bad on most dvdrips, they're fine on my pc and laptop. Voices are too quiet and the background noise is too loud. When i turn the volume up or use volume aplification/drc it just distorts the speech more and makes it crackle.
Tried 2 tvs and 2 sets of leads. SCART connection, PAL TV. Stereo analogue sound. Have messed around with various settings including changing to surround in the original dash's settings.
Speech usually seems ok on proper DVD's (vob files rather than avi)
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Totally unrelated issue but i cant get ordinary retail dvds to play at all on the original MS dashboard or UnleashX.
