Hi, i had the same problem yesterday, i found that it was a bad connection in the LPC, i put a new wire in and it works again. thats how i fixed mine, hope this helps.

it was pin 5 i had a problem with, the circuit for that pin comes real close to pin 7, i was a little careless with the soldering iron and hit the board,eventually after a while for some reason shorted out to it to pin 7,  so i had to cut the circuit and trace it back though the board and replace it with a wire, rough hey.
A loose connection in the LPC will make it not start up as well

I took a look at that connection very closely and looks fine... Again this unit has never been modded so the likely hood of lpc being damage is slim.

Anyone else have any other suggestions???

if you boot the xbox without an AV cable connected, does the eject button color stays green?

What happens if you boot it without dvd and harddisk connected?

If it worked a year ago, and doesn't anymore, than you might take a look at the articles describing a coma console sympton.

HI my xbox 1.6? also has no audio video i have softmoded my xbox,
when booted up i get the green flashing then solid green.

if i remove the av cable i get orange and green flashing lights around the eject button, my DVD drive won't eject either but if i unplug DVD drive and hdd i get the flashing green and then solid green light.
