Changing An Xbox's Screen Resolution?
« on: April 27, 2008, 01:04:00 PM »

Ok, I have a laptop that hooks up to TV's, and it gives me a list of different screen resolutions:

640x480

800x600

1024x768

Well, this must mean, at least to my logic, that when people show all these wacky xbox-format screen resolutions, like 480i or something like that, TV's must support computer-format resolutions also. (like 800x600)

Ok, well, I read in many places the Xbox displays a majority of it's games at a 640x480 screen resolution with TV antialiasing and maybe a few at 800x600.

Is there a homebrew software or some other way of changing the xbox's defualt settings to a different screen resolution?

I just joined Xbox-Scene so please take it easy.  smile.gif

I know this is related more to software than hardware, except for maybe the xbox's ability to render different resolutions, but I decided this was the best place to post this topic.
