Hi, I recently bought a X2VGA 2.0 adapter after reading they worked for a number of people, and I'm trying to make it so my original Xbox will display on my LCD monitor. I've tried hooking it up directly with the component cables and I get nothing. If I take off the 480i easyview feature from the switches below, it doesn't do anything either.
I actually tried hooking up my xbox directly to a hdtv at a friend's house this morning and all I got was a bunch of flickering while the TV constantly changed modes. Is there a way to change settings within the xbox so HD is enabled? I'm running an xbox purchased in the US, so I'm assuming it's NTSC. Can someone please help me figure out how to do this?
I would appreciate it ever so much, I'm about ready to give up but the x2vga cost quite a bit so I want to get it to work. Pleeeeeeeease. Thank you
