Hello, I have a hd av pack, and I have a nice lcd monitor, I would like to use it on my monitor, it only has VGA, but I have a VGA to DVI converter, mainly what I'm asking is will my DVI to Component adapter work?
I'm asking this because as my vga to dvi adapter has the wrong ends, and i'm waiting for the other 1 to show up.
This is my adapter
it has mutliple settings on it.
480i
480p
640p
720p
1080i
16:9
so i would switch it to 480p and 16:9...if i'm not mistaken.
But it should work, right? I want to use my 360 on it as well, My monitor supports max of 1440 x 900
It has 720p, but idk if the xbox will display that, but i'm sure it display atleast 480p though.
Also, I'd like to rig up this vga cable to one of my spare cables, could I use this thing?
i want to use it as my vga end, could i install some pins at the end? I could clip it as well though.
