So heres the issue:  I buy a brand new Sharp LCD, get the xbox out of the closet and dust it off.  I bought some generic component video cables (from GameStop, $14.99), hook it up to comp. in on the tv, and......nothing.  This was an unmodded xbox.  composite works great, i even took the new cables back and exchanged them thinking they were defective but i guess that wasnt the case.  so anyways, in the mean time i went ahead and modded it anyways (EvoX and XBMC are great!) thinking that possibly the issue would iron itself out.

I searched and searched the forums but cannot find an issue exactly like mine considering they wouldnt work when the damn thing wasnt even modded.  Any help or insight on this would be much appreicated.
