Xbox 1.0 W/ Matrix Chip Green Screen

..at least I believe it is just a 1.0. I am running the Matrix chip with Xecuter BIOS using an Advance HD pack with component to VGA adapter. I haven't received the HD pack yet, but I assume it will have the green tint. I saw where I need to read the two VGA_DEBUG how-to's, but don't know where in the hell they are. A buddy at work uses softmod in a newer version Xbox, but said he added a program to the root of his drive that pops up each time at boot and bypasses the loaded BIOS to fix this issue. Can I do the same thing? I just don't want to have to pull the chip AGAIN and mess with hooking it up to an LPT port, etc.
