On my Xbox all voice communications are extremely quiet and barely audible, unless played through a headset.
This applies to Xbox Live communication (when routed through speakers), karaoke mode in XBMC, karaoke in the Xbox Music Mixer, and in the Karaoke Revolution game.
All other sounds are normal, but sounds from the Mic (and other players on XBL) are very quiet. I have two communicators, and headsets and it makes no difference which I use. I have tested them both on a friend's box, and both of them work properly on my friend's system.
When I first got XBL (years ago) before I had the headset, I remember the voices coming out of the speakers audibly. I must have set or changed something since then to cause this, any ideas?
