Do you know what games in particular? I don't see how it would work on a CRT but not plasma. Is there anything else hooked up to the plasma (and does that work properly)?

by chance is the tv a Samsung. I had the same problem with a Samsung, but the problem wasnt consistent, some times it would work fine, some times I would have to shake the cord around until i got color. For some reason there a few Samsung models that have issues with it's component and s-video connections. If the tv is not a Samsung, i would still put my money on it having something to do with the tv

By rgb cable, I assume you mean component (three cables for video and red and white or optical for audio)? Also, just to make sure, are you launching the games from the dash or putting them in on boot (so the dash never shows up)? That could be affecting it, but I am not sure. I would try a different input on the tv if possible (just to eliminate as many things as you can).
