¿how To Enable Rgb Output With Av Pack?
« on: June 20, 2007, 04:45:00 PM »

Hi victoralcuadrado,

SCART sockets are capable of 3 video signal standards, Composite, S-Video and RGB. Some of these signals use the same contacts in the SCART plug, this is why there is a switch on your AV Pack to select S-video or RGB.  Because some of the contacts have dual functions, your TV may only have RGB support on one of the SCART sockets. The other socket may only have  S-Video or composite.

Some TVs cycle through different modes for the SCART inputs when you select them, for example:
AV1
AV1 (S-VIDEO)
AV1 (RGB)
AV2
AV2 (S-VIDEO)

If you are not able to use your xbox in RGB mode with one of the SCART sockets and you are not using an RGB source in the other, swap them over so you can use RGB as it is better than S-Video.

All of what I've mentioned and more are included in Wikipedia here.

Hope this helps you and others,
All the best  pop.gif
