K, long story short...I had buddy mod xbox with an alladin chip with evox m8+ bios..now everytime I want to play, i press power and let it sit for 2min. I then turn it off and then turn it back on, my video appears and the  dash is displayed. I have to do this everytime. I was told it could be a grounding problem, but how does this affect the video? the dvd ejects only after the warmup period and the sound coicides with video.

If anyone has a link or pic of the weld points so i could check where the ground should be that would be great, if thats the problem??

the cables have been switched and checked

any idea is a good one at this moment
