New Xbox - No Video
« on: April 26, 2007, 07:42:00 AM »

I just got my Xbox upgraded to 1ghz, I installed my X3 chip & have Monster RGB cables.

The Xbox boots up, reads the HDD, LED's show no errors (light up as normal) but I have no display or sound.

My guess is that a firmware needs to be loaded onto the X3 chip before I can use RGB but I can't be sure because I don't have any standard A/V cables for the Xbox.

Does anyone one know what the cause could be???

So as I suspected the Xbox displayed output when using standard A/V cables, so I installed XBMC but still if I add the Monster RGB cables no video output!

Am I missing something here?

I installed Msdash, loaded a retail game (Unreal Champ) & I got output. Fixed.
