I know its an old game an all, I had a hacked tables.vpp for the PC version of Punisher that worked very well with a B&W patch that removed 'most' of the censoring, a year or so ago.
I have been reading stuff about hex editing and .etm files for the past 3 days, and I cannot get anywhere. The lines of code in the default file do not appear to exist (I'm using XVI32 2.51), or at least I do not know how to find them.
I have no idea what the 'x' value in such a line as: 0x38BD48, as when doing a search, the x doesn't come up when I type it, and from what I've read, since that value is from the NTSC version anyway, it isn't relevant to my Australian PAL version.
I have the legal patcher downloaded from here:
XGM, but it says my files are of incorrect size. Obviously it is for the NTSC files.
If someone could tell me what apps to use to convert the .etm patch (I have etm, but don't really know how to use it) to PAL I would be stoked. Even point me to a .PPF, I have PPF-XBOX. In fact I nearly every app that may be able to help me in this crisis, I just need some help to point me in the right direction.
