Madrics Rgb Cable -> Green Screen

Have you enabled 480p in your Microsoft Dashboard?

NOTE: You need to be in NTSC mode for HDTV resolutions and VGA BIOSes to work.

IIRC, even after loading a VGA enabled bios correctly, your monitor may still have a green tint, depending on how well it deals with the non-standard signal that the xbox outputs (which is not at VGA spec). Is it less green than before, or the same green?

I now saw a thread where I read that it is possible to enable the 480p mode in the original MS Dash and tried this out. But I did not get this menu where it is possible to select the hd mode. The same in the UnleashX dashboard, the 480p, 720p and 1080i modes where disabled and theres no way to enable them. What could be the problem? Is my cable not reconized as an advanced av cable?

I'm not sure how the scart/rgb cable works, but yes, it seems that it's not being recognized as an HD cable.

If by advanced av cable you mean the Advanced AV Pack type cable, that would not be recognized as HD capable either.
