I am using the Auto Installer Deluxe 2.11 Softmod with SID and wanted to kow if there are any problems with using X2VGA 2 High Definition VGA Transcoder. I plan to buy one really soon and would appreciate some feedback and advise.
I am also cautious of adjust my softmod since its worked for the past 1.5 years perfect but planning of selling my CRT and buying a HD plasma or LCD. So hoping for good news or alternatives.

I would recommend that you change your softmod even if you don't get a VGA transcoder. You will have a better chance of getting decent results with an X2VGA if you use Krayzie's NDure instead of SID.

How difficult would it be to switch to Krayzie's NDure. I think I have the original Harddrive and data backed up.

This is what support at X2VGA said "As long as your Xbox is set as NTSC mode, it can work normally with the X2VGA 2, nothing to do with your software."

So I am gonna buy it and see how it works.
