In your evox settings in System/System Settings/Dash Version/(more information) does it confirm you are using an advanced High definition AV pack under cable?Or a standard AV cable?

I'm confused...using evox build 3935, I don't see information at all that pertains to what type of AV pack is hooked up.

I'm having the same problem now with my new setup.
Got a new Plasma + HD cables for Xbox and I've set to NTSC via Enigmah and have XBMC looking pretty..

I attempted to load a couple of games though, and they both froze EvoX at the loading screen.

I tried setting back to PAL, enabling/disabling resolutions, etc..

What gives?

Has anyone had/fixed this issue also?

Help!

I have had success with this and its well worth doing IMO. Although reading some of the threads like this I began to think my PAL games would not run and almost sent the AV pack back before taking it out the box.

I installed the Enigmah NTSC/Pal switch software and set it to NTSC

Plugged in the Microsoft HD HV kit in the component sockets on my Samsung HD ready TV
http://www.consolesa...ack-p-1988.html

Booted Xbox and in Vidio settings (MS Dashboard) I then saw options for setting resolution to 720p 1080p etc
and chose 720p. They werent there before adding the ACV pack.

I have not found as yet (I tried about 8 of them ) any of my PAL games that DO NOT work on NTSC and 720p . Games like Forza & Burnout are fantastic quality. Games like MOH are also much better than playing on the same LCD with PAL.
