X2vga2 Green?

I just received a x2vga2 for my xbox and Im having some problems.
First I have a green tint on everything movies,games, etc. I have a ntsc xbox with a mod chip preinstalled. I went to the ms dash and enabled 420p then I restarted and booted the xbmc dash and everything is still green. Another problem is that my screen on my monitor blacks out and on every few seconds. Also their is no audio. And I have my xbox hooked up to just a monitor because I only have a laptop not a PC. The name of my monitor is Princeton VL1918. Any help would be appreciated.
