Hdtv For Xbox1

Hey, I was thinking about buying an HDTV, but I was wondering if it is worth it if I only have original Xbox.  I know most games are only 480p, so is the difference in PQ going to be worth the cash?  Thanks.

Only if you use XBMC as a media centre.

There IS indeed a big difference between the normal Red/White/Yellow cables and HDTV, and it is definately worth it as far as picture quality goes.

But yes, as deadparrot said, XBMC is the biggest reason for HDTV on the original XBOX.

So if all I was using the xbox for is games, it probably wouldn't be worth spending the money?  I do use XBMC, but only as a dashboard, not as a media centre.

Since most Xbox1 games don't support HDTV, I personally don't think it's worth buying an HDTV over.

Now, if you're getting a 360 or going to subscribe to an HDTV package (cable/dish) then it is definatley worth it.

Cool, thanks for the input, this has helped me make a decision that would have potentially cost me lots of money for little gain.
