No. Hacking an X-Box doesn't change its video format. You need an application like Enigmah Video Mode switch and manually switch if from NTSC to PAL.
Also, be careful of the AC mains power input. From memory, Switzerland uses 230 volts and the Canadians use 120 volts. Your going to need a stepdown transformer.

Most modern European TV's will accept PAL and NTSC signals. Might be worth checking the TV handbook?
