the question is, can I put a 360 or normal xbox disc in my PC and pull off the movies and sounds and music from some games. with the proper conversions to more common nonxbox formats later.

is there a way? am I missing a way to do this? I want to do it with just my pc and game disc. I want to pull some music and maybe a video from the disks.

please be specific on what   I need or tweaks to make to my pc.thank you for any kind answers and sorry if this is too common.

I don't see a question mark there, but the answer is 'no'.

A modded Xbox or a properly backupped game could allow you to rip the data files from the game which contain the audio and video streams. However, most of the time every game uses a different format. The answer on how to convert it is: search. Note that not every format can be converted, because nobody ever spent time on those formats which cannot be converted.

thanks. for me I am not too concerned over translating them. just getting them off the disc.

is there no bios setting or driver that can let my DVD player pull some files out?

what if I have an iso? then I can do something and pull it apart somehow?
