Problem With Belinea 101536 Lcd (15")

What resistor did you use? If you built your cable using the 680k resistor, then try using a 470k resistor. It seems to work better for most monitors.

Hmm, got my 470k resistors today, just soldered it in, but the problem is the same one....
I Just tried another monitor (LG 1510S), but with it the picture is totally flackering, but the picture itself is ok...
Do you have another ideas?
Best regards, flexbeat

Hmm, strange. I've used my cable with a 470k resistor for about 2 months now, and it works perfectly with about 5 monitors that I have tested it with.

I'm sure the problem has to do with your cable.

Your cable is using the LM1881N chip, correct?

P.S what are the differences between the LM1881N/NOPB, LM1881N. and LM1881N..?

I'm not really sure to tell you the truth, but I assume they simply each have their own way of handling the signal. I'm pretty sure that the LM1881N is the only one that can extract a sync signal from a component connection though.

Still having problems with the 15" TFTs. Today i bought a 340K Ohm resistor after reading the VGA guide from 360mods, but my monitor only said "Out of range" in VGA and HDTV mode....So i decided to use an 1M Ohm potentiometer, i recognized, that my tft shows me a picture with a resistor of 440K till 1000K in HDTV mode and from 540K till 600K in VGA mode.....but the picture itself is still totally flickering....What happends if i interchanged the H- and V-Sync signals on the LM1881?
Thx for replies,

sorry for my bad english,

At this point, my instincts are telling me that this monitor simply won't work with the XBOX. The XBOX is fairly close to providing a completely native VGA signal, but unfortunately it's not perfect and some monitors don't like it. Hopefully someone with more knowledge on the VGA cable could better assist you. Wish I could help you further, but unfortunately i'm as lost as you are at the moment. sad.gif
