So here's an idea, NKPatcher patches the 'copy' of the original MS BIOS on the fly where it resides in memory, correct? So, my thoughts are this... Why can't we dump THAT memory region and create an NKPatcher BIOS for Modchips?
Evox can actually do this. So, my thoughts are that if you use the 'Backup' command in Evox after you load up NKPatcher, it would dump the CURRENT PATCHED BIOS in memory, which would be the 'NKPatcher Version' of the MS BIOS residing in memory.
So, perhaps someone should try this and see if it works. And if it doesn't, then we need to find an effective way to dump the 'NKPatcher Verison' of the current MS BIOS in memory, and then we would have our VGA BIOS for modchips.
In theory, this WOULD work.
Any thoughts?
EDIT: Can any brave multi-bank modchip users test my theory? (I use a softmod...)
