I know that linux has its own way of handling graphics and it can even use video modes which are not supported by games, including VGA. Should it not suffice to use some VGA BIOS?

Are you talking about running one of those hacked installs of OS X that will break every time Apple issues an update?

Or are you talking about running Darwin?

you are trying to run OS X on your xbox? did I miss something in the 2-3 months Ive been out of the original xbox scene?

Oh my god, do you really intend to run an original MacOS X via PearPC on your box? I tried this on my 3GHz P4HT once and the result was pretty lame, spoken literally.
I would be glad to hear what ur gonna use this kinda system for, anyway.
