well there are no options in games to force 720 or 1080 output in games that dont support it.. so even if you could magically enhance graphics...  what would you be enhancing?  you're still stuck with the same code.  drop a new graphics card into an PC and run an old school game... its still gonna look like crap because it was coded with worse hardware in mind.

you can try a video scaler that can use algorithms to smoothen edges... but thats pointless if you arent using an HDTV.

The closest thing you can do to "enhance" the graphics is to hex edit a 480i only game into 480p. See the big thread for a list of games in which you can do this. The odd game can be upped to 720p, but with issues still I think.

This isn't really upping the graphics as the xbox can do 480p anyway; support just wasn't included in some games for whatever reason, and we're just re-enabling it. But it does make the games look better.

Are you speaking of a certain game that can be hacked to 720p output? In fact, the X360 does exactly that with certain emulated Xbox1 games like eg. Halo 2. But I believe the Xbox1 would not any more run very smooth this way, would it?
