1.6 Crystal Xbox with 120 Gig Hard drive [Soft modded using Krayzie's Ndure SCell exploit].

I have read and read up on this issue, but am having hard time finding specifics.
Issue is that when heading to M$ Dash from Evo-X cannot retain setting changes for Audio and Video.
Specifically trying to change settings to 5.1 audio and Widescreen:  When we change the setting for video to Widescreen, the xBox just reboots and all settings are back to Stereo and Normal TV.

Checked the MS Dash settings by dual-booting to retail state (with eject button), and all is well.  Restart box with Power Button and then jump to M$ Dash from EVO-X and its not the same as the current retail booted MS Dash.

I've read on a previous post(s) that this is due to the eeprom file and a virtual C drive conflict.

Anyone have any idea how to resolve this?  Its not like the xBox will be switched back and forth in terms of Vid/Audio settings so we want to have it stay as 5.1 and Widescreen.

I still want to be able to dual-boot and have the virtual C-Drive so we can go LIVE.

Could it be as simple as just copying the new EEPROM from the retail state folders and then replacing the existing EEPROM used by Evo-X?
