HI,
I have a modded 1.0 Xbox and i wanted to use it at uni on a monitor so i dnt have to pay a TV license.

I have bought a samsung syncmaster 731N.

I made my own vga box using the LM chip but do not know if this works correct, it may be the course of the problem but if it is what would cause it?

Anyway, i made my cable and plugged in my monitor and it was green but didnt show a bios when i set my cable to component.

I have installed the IND Bios which should allow VGA although this does not work either.

Any ideas why everything is green??

Also any ideas why HD does not work?

SHould i try another bios or does anyone know of a wiring fault that would cause this?
