X2vga2 - What? When?
« on: January 06, 2006, 11:47:00 AM »

Searched Google and the forums, and was suprised to find next to nothing about this.

Just tried to order an X2VGA+ from the official page, got a messege basically saying it's discontinued and a superior X2VGA2 is on the way.

Now I don't know how old that messege is.... could have been there 2 years ago, could have been added last week... so I don't know how recent this is.  I'm hoping this is a recent thing, as I'd gladly wait a few months for this smile.gif  Does anyone know anything about it?

http://www.x2vga.com/

btw, if anyone wants to check whether they have the X2VGA or the X2VGA+ check here:

http://www.x2vga.com...ual_eng_120.pdf

The X2VGA only has one VGA output, the + has 2, and a re-located digital out port.

The X2VGA+ also gives the option of sending audio out to either a Stereo port, or a Digital out for 5.1 systems.

You have misunderstood me, I have the X2VGA+ and thought it was the X2VGA2 as it looks the same with same functionality, tbh most people are confused over the X2VGA/X2VGA+/X2VGA2 issue.

I don't know any more than you, I wasn't trying to hide anything and think your attitude is appalling.

Abusing other members will get you nowhere.

With 6 posts you have no authority.

You're probably right but I was just getting a bit pissed. I started a topic or two extensively describing a problem I had, there were quite some views but no-one even took the effort to reply
So what? The admins, mods and members of Xbox-Scene don't owe you anything.

and especially the audio/video forum really "sucks" imho, it's far from complete, no good topics pinned (or are there none),
The fact that you ask "are there none?" states that you obviously didn't look.

QUOTE
many reply-less topics etc.
So? Do something about it or ignore it.

and now I read some complete bullshit post of someone claiming to have something "fucking awesome" and I, albeit not too polite, ask for info and the response to that is "x2vga.com". That made me stop being polite, and I hope you can bring up a little sympathy for that.
I can't. If you are not satisfied with an answer, ask again or rethink your question. Getting 'not too polite' and 'stopping with being polite' won't get you anywhere.

But hey don't reply, it's off-topic you know.
Why not? Are you afraid of bad criticism? ohmy.gif
