Dvd Runs But No Menu

I have an evox dash and xbmc. I use xbmx to watch DVD's but it is unable to go to the menu screen of the DVD. For example my younger brother bough madagascar and when he watches it all the xbmc will play is the making of madagascar. The xbmc won't play the movie and won't go to the menu screen. Evox won't even play the dvd. What should I do?
