Just Got 32" Sharp Acquos - Issues!

Here's the deal, I just got a 32" Sharp Acquos LCD and hooked up my current Xbox to it.

I have the monster component cables and set the dashboard to use Widescreen - 480 - 720 - 1080 all set to YES.

When I load up ANY game you can notice like flickering around text (mostly black text on a white background, but it varies). Also in sports games the players look very pixelated while the backgrounds look great.

In MVP Baseball 2005 it runs in 720p, but the game LAGS bad (Also the flickering is the worst in this game). I seen this same TV running 1080 on Xbox 360 so I can't imagine that refresh rate is the problem.

Anyone have any idea what I can try? I tried 2 different xboxes and both do the same thing.
