Only Right Channel Audio

I am not quite sure when this happened but it is quite a few weeks ago. There is now only sound in the right audio channel, both in XBMC and in the standard MS dash. I tried two cables, I have the original and the Scart one, but the same with both.

How do I start to debug this? I have taken a look at the connector and it seems clean, so the problem sadly is probably internal.

Where should I look for, what should I look for? What is most probably the problem?
