5.1 Sound Option Is Greyed Out

Hi,

I have a cable connected to the xbox with an optical line connected to my receiver. The reciever supports DTS and dolby surround.

My prob is that I can not activate 5.1 support. It is set to analog and is greyed out.
I would like to activate all surround options...
Any ideas how to ungrey it?
