Hey guys

just wanted to let you know i have a V1.4 and i am using IND-BIOS.5001.06.vga without editing it.

also questions:
1.when i boot to this bios with standard av pack it has weird colours? what is this?
2. how do i edit this bios to boot another dash other then evox?

1. i was fairly sure that the vga bios looks for the component cable and if it doesnt find it, it doesnt enable vga mode(480p for me).
2. nothing recognizes it and i can boot the bios config maker for the ind bioses to inject the new settings.

Use RGB SCART if you can instead of the Advanced AV pack. It will display correctly when the VGA BIOS is used.
Alternatively, if you have a modchip with more than one bank, flash it with another BIOS and add a switch to change between them when you don't wish to use VGA.

for the Bios, I think thats just the way it is, you have to run a VGA bios when you want VGA and a normal when you want normal.


as for the dash, just replace the evoxdash.xbe (or perhaps default.xbe) with the default.xbe of your new dash.  I use XBMC and i put the default.xbe of XBMC on C:\ as evoxdash.xbe.  For XBMC you will also need to edit and put xboxmediacenter.xml on C too.  The xboxmediacenter.xml file is very clear about how to edit it.

yes it was converted to ntsc but i have pal games etc
but i was mainly posting to let evertone no that ind-bios 5001 vga works on focus's

advanced av pack has composite and s-video and coxial(in australia)
