Neoya Vga Box Settings
« on: August 04, 2005, 07:46:00 AM »

Hi

I have some questions and need your feedback.

I have been using the neoya vga box for some time. I have an NTSC xbox (v1.0) and mostly play PAL games (live in the UK). I try to get the best possible quality on my monitor.

-My monitor accepts HV sync and composite, is HV sync better because it splits the sync?

-My vga input gives me a better picture than my bnc. Is it because the circuits inside my monitor are better for VGA?

-You must have noticed that by playing with the switches, you can deactivate the interlaced mode. The picture in 480p is better when I do that.???????

- Forcing NTSC as game region in evox gives me a better picture than PAL even on PAL games. Is the VGA box optimized for NTSC as PAL boxes do not support VGA out of the box?

-Behind my monitor, there is a switch for 75 ohms and infinite ohms. Which one should I use?

-Is the new neoya (with 2 inputs) better than the previous one?

-Which dashboard or program should I use to launch games when using VGA?

-Is using a VGA bios when using a VGA box useful?

Regards
