Lcd Car Screens

Just wondering if there are any LCD car screens that will allow me to adjust the screens for multiplayer?  Like if I had 4 people playing a game such as Halo or something, then each person would only see their screen and not the other peoples (since the LCD's are not that big anyways, and with 4 players, using 1/4th of the tiny screen would suck).

I'm not aware of anything car specific (and if I don't know about it, it must not exist, ;-)

So your only option would be to adapt A/C video wall equipment to do it.  If you can afford 4 LCD screens in your car, you can probably afford the video wall equipment too.

Don't have the space for 4 xboxes (plus, 4 hdds, wiring them all up to different sound...ect.) so that is definately out of the question.  As for the AC video wall equipment, could you link me or give me the name of a specific product so that I could do a little research on this matter?

Well, with 4 different players playing on their "own" xbox playing Halo2 or something, then you would only hear the default sound of player 1, not necessarily what your guy was making (and I don't want to put all of the sounds from each xbox to one set of speakers for obvious reasons).  I don't really want to hassle with a big flip down screen, since that would just be a hassle for me and it is not what I want....I was also planning on using the xbox as a psuedo MP3 player, since it is rather cheap...I just thought that it would be fun for passengers if they could play a game or two...well...I'll check around for something...and if I run into something then I will post the link.

There's already a thread about video walls here:

I think the cheapest setup was around $3,000.

Thanks, Mr. Ed...not really what I was wanting to hear though...I was just hoping that there may be an LCD or two out there with a zoom feature built into the screen...

A small, basic idea:

Buy 4 Xbox's. Take them apart and mod them all with a chip. Flash the chip with a BIOS that supports 'no DVD-ROM-drive' and give every Xbox-mainboard a 2.5" laptop-HDD instead of the stock one. Put the cases and DVD-ROM-drives somewhere safe.

Put Halo 2 on each 2.5"-drive. Now you will have the following situation:

4x
Xbox mainboard
2.5" HDD with Halo 2 on it
Power supply

Next, create a nice case for all of the mainboard and hard-drives and power-supplies (+ any power inverters/other hardware that you will need, like composite video output for each mainboard for one LCD). It should be pretty small with the lack of a DVD-ROM drive and with a small HDD. Try to make something that gives enough airflow to keep things cool. Buy a cheap ethernet-switch (10/100mbps) with 4 or 5 ports to wire the mainboards together.
