Sorry to get back one the scene and start soundin like a newbie again, but ive pretty much been off line for the last 3 months due to my puter gettin hacked and totally fried the hd's
My prob is simple. before it went down, i managed to finally get the whole XDK along with the dvd2xbox
so how do i do this to get the xbox to xbmc, just copy the cd onto the HD, and then what, use someones NEW XBMC upgrade to copy over it. and whalla its an entertainment center ?!?!? sounds a lil 2 E Z
i guess the good thing about the hack, now i have the xp media center, and really lookin forward to streaming video, to the bedroom.

ive been ponderin.... do they come up with codecs for the xbox like the puters?
? cuz i know bout every 4-6 months there is a new dvd player for the tv, and still wonderin why they dont make a cable to plug into the dvd player to add codecs to keep those up to date.
cuz i would rather eliminate the need to burn... since i have 160 gig XBOX, 330gig PC
was also wonderin if an external HD could be used on the xbox, im pretty sure i know the answer to that 1 tho

PS is there anyone out there that knows about hacks, and how i could get my old puter back up again for another TV ...... im pretty sure they flashed the bios, or they figured a way to softmod it, and changin HD just ruins the other HD.... i have 4 now that r pretty much junk the way they r.... HD's have a DDO (mask)and BVR (recorder prog) on them, which keeps me from actually formattin the whole HD, so when windows xp pro goes back on it,. it copie sits JUNK on it before XP bringing me back to square 1

n e one know how i could keep someone from hackin into my internet wirelessly, when i dont have n e thing wireless hooked up... i know it dont sound right, but they can tap into the PC wirelessly now that they uploaded theit BS onto it.
Im currently convertin my wireless to wired router... but havin a couple probs with eliminatin the antenna
