Hook it up to a PAL-Compatible TV, and use a video switcher to switch to NTSC. Formatting your HDD won't help, because the NTSC <--> PAL setting is embedded in your EEPROM.

Thanks,
It was working fine until my friend did something to it. It is a ver 1.0 modded but chipless. Is there anyway I can edit the eeprom? Thanks again for the info.

WTF, how did you fuck up the EEPROM without a chip? No, you will have to chip or softmod it.

I don't know what he did but it is stuck in pal mode now. So I will try to edit the eeprom or try to soft mod it again. Hopefully I can get it to work again.

You need to run Enigmah Video Switch disc. You don't need to see what you are doing, load the disc and press 'A' for PAL and 'B' of NTSC. But you will have to mod to get the disc to boot in the first place.

Sorry I guess I can find it in the usual places. Been away for awhile, just getting my mind back into it. Thanks again.
