Intec G8270 (making Xbox Portable)
« on: May 31, 2005, 03:30:00 PM »

I was looking at the Intec G8270 Monitor for the Xbox (http://www.procura.com/g8270.html) and was wondering if anyone has used this product before.  I like how it snaps on the top of the case.  From the pictures i have seen it looks like it connects via A/V cables to the Xbox.  This is kind of messy.

What would be the easiest way to connect it?  I was thinking maybe making connections inside the box and having a switch for external or internal monitor.  What would be the best route for attacking this?  Or is it even possible.  I want to do this so I can play my Xbox in the car.  What is the cleanest or simplest way to get the Xbox power?  I know I could use a power inverter but I was thinking that the power supply in the Xbox pry bumps it down to 12v or lower.  Is it possible to make a new power supply that would plug into 12v DC?  Thanks for any help it is appreciated.
