Green Flicker When Subtitles On

Hi, basic info: xbox ver 1.6, Xenuim Ice, XBMC (forget which version).

Upon watching a DVD, if subtitles are enabled then a green rectangle flickers across the entire upper half of the screen every time the subtitles are updated (I can see the subtitles, they are the way they should be). When I disable the subtitles, things work as they should.

I've tried fiddling with settings, but have not been able to solve this annoying issue, and searching the forum for "green flickering rectangle" and "subtitles" have not yielded any good results.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would first of all suggest that you download the latest XBMC and see if that solves your problem.
The last 2 releases (or so) have had some fairly significant changes all round.

Its worth updating anyway :-)
