Toslink & Analog Audio Out

Prior to upgrading to the latest version (5/2/05), I was able to use both the Optical and Analog audio outputs on my xbox at the same time.  My setup:  component and optical run to my HDTV and receiver; analog audio cables go to a 2nd receiver.  

As I said, before I updated my box, the sound played simultaneously on both receivers.  Since upgrading, I can only get sound from the main receiver (optical cable).  My question:  did something change with the new xbmc?
