OK, here is th eproblem.
I just bought a broken Xbox unit v1.0 and no there is no video once plugged in. I have tested the DVD rom on another unit and it works well. I have tested the HD and get an ERROR 6 (not a problem I can fix this), but cannot figure out why no video. I see no burned marks on motherboard or PSU. Any ideas, you can also e-mail me at
