720p Needs Software Setting?
« on: April 06, 2005, 11:39:00 PM »

I try to enable 720P in Unleash, but it is deactivated i could not change it.
then I try to enable it in Avalaunch, it said can not write eeprom when HD locked. I unlocked HD and try again, it said "all writing to eeprom disabled---can not process"

what's wrong with it?

any one can help? thanks!

First of all, you have to have cables that will support the higher resolutions (component or vga). Make sure your HDD is not locked, like you mentioned, then go into AVA's mainoption, then to boot options, and in boot options enable "allow eeprom writeback".  Now you will be able to enable the higher res via AVA.
