No Video On Xbox

i am having the same problem...i was in the middle of playing and the video went out...i get audio but thats it...i went to the store to pick up a new set of cables, but the video still wasnt working...tried it on multiple tvs also...

this is something that has puzzled me as well. i had a 2.6 installed and reflashed with a programmer. when i reinstalled there was no video.

try using S-video or connect it to an amp (using monster a/v cables) - those are the only 2 combinations i know of that will work.

i'm not sure exactly why this is caused, but someone has to know. thought about reflashing eeprom and thinkin it might help, but i dunno.

Question?
If i bootup from the backup bios and flash via ftp isn't it going to flash over my backup bios or is it going to flash the bank that the dip switches are set to (1Mb)?
