the best thing to do is buy the advanced a/v package made by MS and supply a better quality s-video cable, thats what i did and i get flawless results

the advanced a/v package also offers the possibility of 5.1 digital surround(why i bought it)

i paid $29.99 canadian

monster is overpriced
madcatz...you get what you pay for...shit
get the official ms adv/hd avpack.  theyre only twenty bucks and you can upgrade the cables later should you see it fit.

if I buy the MS HD pack. does it come with special component cables or does it JUST come with the black component box pictured here?

It does come with component cables, but they are bottom of the barrel quality wise. If you buy the revised model HD pack, the component cables are part of the build and are said to be decent.
