I would say over most of the CRT based rear projection TVs made by Mitsubishi in the past few years were sold WITH build in HDTV ATSC tuners, and those TVs DON'T HANDLE 720p on their component inputs.
Ok thats one. Sure theres a few more, but not 85% like you say. And again tuners dont downsample, downconvert, or whatever you want to call it. Any format conversion will be done by the sets built in circuitry/scaler.
