Advanced Av Pack Help Please

Sorry, I'm a n00b who just modded his xbox, but i have run into a problem.  I bought the standard xbox advanced AV pack, and it doesn't work with my modded xbox (starts up to black).  I'm sorry if this has been posted elsewhere but does anyone know the solution?
